Color Separator

· Prep and troubleshoot files for separation/films by ensuring the proper formatting, appearance and layout of graphic files for successful color separation and sample printing

· Prepare files for digital output according to product requirements and instructions.

· Confirm print quality / color assignments during proof checks, and update seps/file data to reflect final print specs.

· Work with Illustrators if needed to assure accuracy of artwork.

· Work with Samples Team to adjust art for final sizing and appropriate placement.

· Confirm legal info and placement for licensed products prior to sending files for seps.

· Maintain accuracy of art image cataloging (file naming and locations).

· Assist in the registering and cutting of films as needed.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.

· Operate all equipment in accordance with operating instructions.

· Perform daily maintenance and calibration of art department large format printer

· Learn to operate and assist in maintenance of image setters and proofing devices

· Maintain a clean and well-organized work area.

· Complete all tasks to guarantee that company goals and customer objectives are met.

· Complete all assigned separations and revisions on a daily basis

· Accurately enter all initial matrices

· Save seps and matrices appropriately on the server

· Work with the sample team for any changes needed in the sample process
