Buyer MRO

1. Identify, evaluate and select suppliers for indirect materials and services.

2. Negotiate prices and contractual conditions with suppliers.

3. Maintain solid relationships with existing suppliers and seek new supply opportunities.

4. Evaluate supplier performance and manage situations where the supplier is out of target.

5. Analyze purchasing and cost trends to optimize the MRO budget.

6. Prepare reports on purchasing performance and propose improvement strategies.

7. Work closely with other departments (Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, etc.) to understand their needs and ensure adequate supply.

8. Participate in continuous improvement projects related to the supply chain.

9. Keep the catalog of materials to be purchased and their prices updated.

10. Has experience procuring Equipment Spare parts, toolings and fixtures per Engineering designs.
