Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer designing
switchgear and switchboards for low and medium voltage applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD, as well as a strong understanding of UL standards. You will play a key role in designing, testing, and implementing electrical systems that meet industry standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop switchgear and switchboard systems for low and medium voltage applications.
- Create detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and 3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Ensure designs comply with UL standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform design reviews, simulations, and testing to validate system performance and safety.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, and installation phases.
- Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices related to electrical power distribution.
Experiencia y requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering .
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in designing switchgear and switchboards for low and medium voltage systems.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and AutoCAD for 2D drafting.
- Demonstrated experience with UL standards and preparing UL files for certification.
- Strong understanding of electrical power distribution systems and relevant codes (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
