Descripción y detalle de las actividades

Samara Living is a factory that manufactures and assembles modular homes with prefabricated materials in Mexicali. Once assembled, these houses are put on platform vehicles and exported to our clients in California.


We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced  Leader to join our team.


As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for :


  • Developing and executing programs focused on Production, towards onboarding, training, and productivity. Design and Deliver Training Programs
  • Lead by Example and be a champion, driving the culture of accountability.
  • Develop the Samara University Program to inspire, educate and sustain the excitement of the employee, culture of accountability and individuals career development. 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the training programs within the departments, provide structure, feedback, and metrics to improve the individual department training programs. Monitor and Review Trainee Progress.
  • Identify the critical need areas for Indirect Labor and Direct Labor training, source 3rd party providers (Level 5 drywall, Lean, Culture) and implement training. 
  • Research and Present New Technologies and Methodologies
  • Maintain Relevant Training Documents and Materials
  • Ensure Compliance with Statutory Training Requirements (STPYS) and other regulations)

Experiencia y requisitos

Personality and Character:


  • Energetic and creative approach to motivating and engaging audiences.


English 85 %  plus 


Experience:

  • Designing and executing training programs in maquiladoras or construction companies. 
  • Knowledge or familiarity with Organizational issues such as:
  1. HR issues ( Turnover and control programs.
  2. Lean manufacturing Culture.

Education:

  • Lic en Educacion, Sicologia Educacional, Ing, Industrial o de Construccion.

Computer  Skills:

  • Excel, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, any system for training and certifications, records control.


Other Skills:


  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to present and facilitate class discussions;
  • Strong organizational and project management skills;
