SUMMMARY: Manage the purchase-to-pay process, including requisitions for consumables, spare parts, supplies, and equipment. Manage inventories by means of MRP (in SAP) to maintain efficient, economical, and flexible Supply Chain (in collaboration with Planner). Manage & evaluate existing and create in SAP new vendors. Help negotiate and implement outline agreements (in collaboration with Sourcing Engineers). Support in implementing adequate supplier logistics concepts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages Purchase Orders using an MRP system (SAP).

• Maintains Material & Vendor Records in MRP system (SAP).

• Performs follow-ups to the Purchase Orders sent to 3rd party and intercompany vendors to meet quantity, cost and delivery time requirements.

• Coordinates with Planners to maintain material plans. • Analyzes proposals from vendors and creates according to Purchase Orders

• Performs follow-ups, identifies reductions and increases in prices, evaluates suppliers, and develops initial contract with new supplier according to the MT framework and requirements. Requests samples for testing.

• Participates in negotiation process and in setting up supplier logistic concepts.
