Manufacturing Engineer (Fiber Optic) - Pacifico

Manufacturing Fiber Optic Engineer to oversee the production, testing, and quality assurance of fiber optic components and systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in fiber optic cable manufacturing, process optimization, and quality control to ensure high-performance and cost-effective production.

• Design, develop, and optimize fiber optic manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Oversee the production of fiber optic cables, connectors, splicing units, and related components.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ITU-T, TIA/EIA, IEC).
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing defects, process inefficiencies, and equipment issues.
• Work closely with R&D, production teams, and suppliers to develop and implement new fiber optic technologies.
• Conduct failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective actions for production-related issues.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process control plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards in the production facility.
• Train and support manufacturing personnel on fiber optic processes and best practices.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality raw materials and components.
