Plant Manager

This role will lead and direct Alliance Air Products’ custom air handling plant, TJ1, located in Tijuana, Mexico. Alliance Air’s data center business is responsible for developing, proposing, designing, producing, shipping and supporting custom Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning solutions for the North American commercial HVAC market. 

1. Prepare short and long-range plant operation plans in collaboration with the AAP Director of Operations and Daikin Applied key leaders. Monitor and report progress.
2. Implement LEAN Manufacturing and continuous improvement programs as directed.
3. Ensure that operations conform to local state and federal governmental regulations. 
4. Collaborate with Director of Operations on creating and implementing plant/organizational policies and standard processes.
5. Direct and/or collaborate key activities of plant operations such as manufacturing, planning, quality, supply chain and EHS to effect operational efficiency and deliver on customer commitments.
6. Collaborate as dotted line and onsite leader to Plant Controller and HR Manager.
7. Analyze plant budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made, collaborate with key business leaders, and partner with Sr. Controller and Controller on improving operating budget.
8. Manages product/business financials in coordination with the business’ Controller.
