Quality Systems Engineer

JOB PURPOSE:

• The Quality System (QMS) Engineer has responsibility to coordinate the deployment and sustaining of the QMS by developing, implement, and maintaining a quality assurance and control systems for the company.

• Administrates the document control system and ensures the proper release, distribution and record retention.

• Programs, publish and adhere to the internal audit schedule. Ensures the internal audits program is developed and executed on time.

• Monitors effectiveness of Internal audits programs such as Process, Product & LPA audits. LPA management –compliance and reporting.

• Planning and Coordination of External Audits Certification when applicable.

• Administrate Corrective action issuance and log.

• Administrate A3 log.

• Change Management (documents, engineering changes, etc.).

• Conducting quality checks to ensure that products and processes are consistent with QMS & BIQs.

JOB DUTIES:

1. Supervises Document Control release and distribution to a plant level as part of the Quality System.

2. Ensures all documents are controlled and identified per document control procedure.

3. Ensures record retention is met and final disposition of records.

4. Coordinates with Support Groups Procedures Development and Procedures Maintenance.

5. Deploy and Coordinate Internal Audit Programs such as LPA, Process & Product Audits.

6. Prepares and coordinates internal audit system program.

7. Audit Work Instruction content versus practice to report gaps to engineering team.

8. Coordinates activities for deployment and Sustaining of the Quality Management System.

9. Coordinates activities for External Audit Certification of the Plant when applicable.

10. Coordinates activities for external audits.

11. Supervises Doc. Control Quality Specialist.
