A leading global technology company is seeking a Senior Test Engineer for its cutting-edge design center located in the Santa Fe area of Tijuana. This role focuses on testing and validating next-generation cloud-connected systems. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of connected technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for connected applications and services.
- Collaborate with development teams to proactively detect and resolve issues.
- Automate and optimize test processes across multiple platforms and environments.
- Conduct performance, scalability, load, and backwards compatibility testing.
- Troubleshoot complex systems involving embedded and cloud components.
Experiencia y requisitos
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software test engineering or a closely related field.
- Solid background in end-to-end testing of cloud-based and IoT/connected systems.
- Practical experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar cloud service providers.
- Knowledge of embedded platforms such as Linux, Android, or QNX.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent English communication skills, including experience working with external customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java).
- Experience in automation testing and developing test scripts.
- Background in embedded software testing on platforms like Linux/Android/QNX.
