Promptly address any safety issues or incidents.
Spend a minimum of 75% of time on production floor leading associates.
Responsible for staffing and training plans within the department.
Provide regular, timely, and specific feedback to associates.
Provide a learning environment and challenge associates to meet higher expectations.
Implement BD Excellence components and programs within the manufacturing unit Ensure an open flow of communication exists between production associates and management.
Represent concerns of production associates to management, as well as management concerns to production associates.
Ensure fair and consistent application of company and departmental policies and practices.
Works with associates to resolve employee relations issues and concerns; involves HR when needed.
Actively participate and support continuous improvement activities.
Collaborate with Production Planning to establish production schedules, monitor performance versus schedule for the department.
Track production metrics to ensure that department goals are being met.
Communicates these metrics and progress to associates and management.
Lead daily production operations.
Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.

Experiencia y requisitos

Bachelor Degree Engineering or administrative career
2 to 3 years of Experience in similar rol.
Basic English communication skills
Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in continuous operational improvement and the ability to act as a change agent.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze, significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
Ability to manage conflicting priorities, meet deadlines.
