Training Supervisor

This role provides leadership for the training department in the support of production areas to supply qualified team members in a timely manner and assist new style training to the existing workforce.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain all records and prepare statistical reports to evaluate performance of instructors and monitor progress of trainees to include attendance, praise, discipline, department, and individual goal setting in support of company goals.
• Ensure placement of employees to job assignment following initial training, results in the best fit for position and employee to maximize success for both the company and the employee.
• Complete time keeping system daily to ensure new hires and trainers time cards are correct and accurate.
• Promote safety awareness as first priority in every aspect of the position to include prevention through engineering, communication, and incident investigation to root cause as well as all legal and company requirements.
• Follow up with new hires as they graduate from the training centers and ensure they are meeting all production requirements. Assist and provide training resources during the New Product Launch process to ensure high quality product is entering the facility and trainers obtain knowledge needed to instruct production areas as needed. Assist and provide training resources during the market process to assist production in the timely completion of all market units.
