Brady Corporation is seeking a Custom Quote Specialist to generate timely, accurate quotes for highly customized labels used in the aerospace and electronics industries. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and other internal teams, with a focus on customer support and operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and some college education, preferably in a technical field
  • Minimum of 2 years within a professional work environment or equivalent job-related experience
  • Responds to inquiries from internal and external customers for pricing and prepares & delivers timely and accurate quotations using SAP, variant configuration, and cost models.
  • Ensures Brady quotations are fully compliant relevant to SOX, ISO, AS9100, and Internal Traffic & Arms Regulations.
  • Responsible for cost, discount, and profit calculation as well as unit of measure conversion.
  • Contributes to process improvements and initiatives to help drive a best-in-class customer experience and to deliver cost savings and process optimization.
  • Performs core job responsibilities with limited supervision and in accordance with standard operating processes and procedures.
  • Understands the need for escalation to leadership relative to barriers that impede quotation turnaround time.
  • Accountable to hit individual metrics and team metrics focused around quantity of quotations provided, quality of quotation content, and quick delivery of quotations to the customer.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, R&D, Quality, Marketing, and Master Data.
  • Performs detailed review of customer drawings & specifications and cross-references with published technical data sheets and manufacturing capability to determine compliance to requested specifications.
  • Responsible for identification of revision level changes for custom parts and initiation of part creation and engineering changes to keep Brady master data consistent with customer requirements.
