We are looking for an additional IT Helpdesk agent to extend our 24x7 support team in Tijuana, B.C.
- Technical analysis of software and hardware products
- Coordination with customers, partners, managers and field engineers
- Escalation to other departments / levels
- Hotline coverage
- Queue monitoring
- Email and chat communication
- Case creation
- Dispatch
- Other support tasks
Experiencia y requisitos
- Knowledge of spoken and written English (minimum C1 level)
- Great teamwork and interpersonal skills
- IT background (educational, work or similar) - ideally related to the software business to provide exceptional solution-oriented support
- Experience in dealing with business customers in the support environment (preferably L2)
- Strong communication skills and empathy along with keeping a clear head and fostering calmness
- Willingness to occasionally work on weekends and holidays + on-call (additional payment)
- Knowledge in Linux
(General commands, navigating through the file system, checking disk space, ...)
- Knowledge in Windows and Office package
- General knowledge about IT environments (Virtual machines, VLANs, DNS, Active Directory, certificates, networks)
- General knowledge about storage systems (File shares, snapshots,…)
- Knowledge about databases (General understanding of database structures, select statements, deleting content, ...)
- Knowledge about Docker and Kafka (nice to have)
